A Word From Pastor
As we prepare for the future, we find ourselves in a time and place of great opportunity to provide the answers to increasing numbers of hurting, broken people of all races and ethnic groups, and to people in various social and economic situations.
At the direction of the Holy Spirit, we are moving into a new realm in meeting the needs of our body and our community through the Home Group Ministry. A church withoput power is like a car without gas; useless. We, the church, must be prepared and able to bring healing, deliverance, restoration and victory to the world around us.
Our Vision for the Home Group Ministry is five-fold; worship, prayer, teach the Word, fellowship, and bring deliverance to the world. All of the saints (i.e. "saved church members") are to be prepared to win others to Christ by miracles, signs and wonders, to disciple (train and equip) them to win others, and, in turn, send them out to minister. (Luke 4:18, Mark)
Four reasons to have Home Groups:
- To preserve the end-time harvest. (Joel 3:14; Matthew 9:37; Mark 4:29; John 4:35).
- As New Testament principles are applied, we will walk in New Testament miracles.
- In a Home Group, close relationships are developed and individual needs can be met.
- Home Groups are a great place to equip and train people to do the work of the ministry.
Some of the benefits of being part of a Home Group are:
- Sense of belonging.
- Stability
- Safety/Security
- Support
- Strength
