III. The Voice of Rejection

Rejection lies to us:

“You’re not good enough”

“You don’t belong”

“You’re unlovable”

“You’re a failure”

Four Types of Rejection:

Relational Rejection – friends, family, breakups

Professional Rejection – job loss, passed promotions

Social Rejection – left out, unseen, invisible

Spiritual Rejection – feeling far from God or condemned by religion

Key Point:

We are wounded by rejection because we were created for connection (reflecting God’s relational nature).
